Goldilocks and The Three Bears: Role play area

This is our new role play area. We have been reading Goldilocks and The Three Bears and role playing it in this area. Sometimes we even change the story a little and make up our own endings.

Our pets in RD and RB

These are our pets in RD and RB. The white and orange one is called Fraggle and the orange one is called Rocky.

We're going on a Bear hunt

This half term we are learning about different environments. Our role play area explores the different environments that bears live in.

Environments

We explored different materials to make our own city. We have also looked at tropical, desert, volcanic, icy, countryside and jungle environments.

Dolls House

This is a dolls house that RB and RD made after visiting the Toy Museum.

Maths games

During ICT we have been looking at some fun maths games. This is a good website for numeral recognition.

Wellington boots

With the colder and wetter weather during Winter we are collecting a stock of wellington boots for children to use outside in the messy areas in the garden. If you have any pairs of childrens wellington boots that you no longer need we would be grateful to receive them and add them to the shared collection.

Alternatively if you wish to supply your child with their own pair of wellington boots to keep in school, please send them in a named bag and ensure each boot is clearly named inside too.

School trip

Reception had a great time at the Bethnal Green museum of childhood!
